Victoria Baths
6th April 2008.
Victoria baths is an Edwardian swimming baths in Manchester.
it opened in 1903 and shut down in 1993, because the council could now longer afford it's up keep and it needed some major work doing to it.
since then local people have been working and raising money to keep the baths open for public use.
even though the building is in a fairly bad state, lots of the original features are still in place and intact.
major restoration work has now begun on the front end of the building.
more info can be found on the website, plus times of open days.
